Craft Kits For Girls

A characteristic everyone likes to have is Creativity. Some people are more imaginative and creative than some. Is it learned? Or achieved? This is normally acquired during our early childhood. Remember when our mothers used to help us paint our rooms? Or older sisters helping us create a fairytale inspired scrapbook? Well, let’s see if we can figure something to help our little ones in their own creative development. All kids love doing arts and crafts projects. This would give them a sense of freedom in doing whatever they want, let their imagination run wild and you might be surprised with the ideas they would come up with. This would also give you a closer bond with your little ones. You can choose craft kits online with your kids if you would prefer.

My daughter Sofia used to love anything and everything about Princesses for I searched online for some stuff that can help us do things together. I stumbled upon some that would interest you and your little princess.

First would be searching the net if you would prefer doing your own crafts or purchasing some kits that would help you with the supplies you would need in one package. If you feel a bit crafty, you can go on and look for supplies at your home, like art papers, scissors, glue, some ribbons, and such. But if I find a sale in our local craft shop, I try to find great deals. Like different string colors, some colored cardboards, glitter glues and so on.

Let us create my daughter’s favorite Precious Princess Photo Frame. You can make up to 10-12 frames with just one kit. The frames come in different pretty pastel colored stickers that you can choose from to decorate with. You would need your own photos, or your kid’s drawings, of course. The frames come in different shapes like a princess, a castle, a wand, and a crown. . You would need to paint the frames, using the watercolor paint inside the box. After painting it, let it dry; no need to worry about being messy. It comes with the fun! After it has dried, you decorate the frame with the stickers or you can also tie a ribbon on top. And lastly, add the photo. It’s Pretty and simple.

Next craft project would be a Foam Tiara; it goes in a kit I bought online. You would need your own glue to stick the tiara together. You get 10 pieces of tiaras made of soft cardboard, some pretty colorful stickers, some glitter glues, and plastic jewels in one kit. Choose a tiara of your style, and decorate it using the sticker and the glitters. Glue in the jewels. Make sure that it sticks firmly. Round up the cardboard so it would look like a halo. Use an adhesive to stick the tiara together. There you have it. I am sure you would enjoy seeing your little girls and her friends wear the tiaras together. They would look like real princesses.

Last craft you can do with your kid daughter would be the Princess Scrapbooking Set. It includes 12 princesses decorative patterned papers, stickers, mini envelopes, paper frames, scallop edged scissors, glitter, a marker and a glue stick. Your daughter can add her pictures, together with her family and friends. This would serve as a keepsake. Bound the patterned paper together into a spiral bound. Decorate each page together with her choice of theme for her scrapbook. And since this would be a Princess themed scrapbook, there would be a LOT of princess pictures and stickers. Design it with the glitter and stickers. Let it dry. Write and draw stuff together. Fun, easy and enjoyable!

Watch out for whatever interests your kids would show or tell you. It is better to give them some objects of their interest rather that spoiling them with plastic Barbie and over-sized stuffed toys. And most importantly, do not pressure them into doing something they are not comfortable with. Let them know your expectations but make them awake that whatever comes out of it, it is still okay and you would still love them no matter what. Happy crafting!
